Philippine Food part 2

         
          If you want to try to cook some Philippine food at home i will give you some recipe of some delicious Philippine foods.

lets start with Batchoy, its is the most popular dish in Iloilo city.













Pancit:
anu kind of noodles –1 kilogram; cooked

Batchoy Broth:
beef and pork stock  10 cups
garlic  4 cloves; pounded
onion  1 piece; medium-sized; quartered
peppercorns  1 tablespoon; pounded
salt  2 teaspoons
soy sauce  1 teaspoon
sugar =1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce  2 tablespoons

Batchoy Toppings:
pork  250 grams
pork liver  150 grams
chicken breast  1 piece
shrimps  150 grams

Procedure:
In a pot put the broth, add all ingredients for the batchoy broth wait till it boils then lower the heat to medium, add the shrimps, blanch the shrimp until it cooked then remove shrimp from the pot and set aside. add in the rest ingredients for the batchoy toppings then simmer it for 25-30minutes. after it simmer remove the ingredients for batchoy topping and set ingredient aside. reduce heat to low and ten season the broth using salt. allow it to continually simmer until serving time. and then slice the pork, chicken, and liver into bite size and set aside. then get a bowl and place the cooked noodles pour the broth then start garnishing. enjoy eating :)

here's another pilipino's most favorite the lechon kawali. its is a whole slab of fried pork belly that it turned into a delicious pork dish with crisp. its tender and juicy inside.












Ingredients:
1 kilo of pork belly
2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon balck pepper
chopped garlic 
oil for frying

Procedure:
in a large pot with water put the pork belly and boil it over medium high heat. and then spoon out the grayish meat protein that floats on the water and discard.
turn the heat into low and put the salt, black pepper and garlic and wait until it simmer for 25-30minutes or until the pork become tender. 
scoop the pork and pat it drybefore deep frying. after the pork dry heat up the oil on your deep fryer and then deep fry it for 15-20minutes or until the skin is crisp
