Philippine myth

THE PHILIPPINE MYTH
ABOUT ASWANG

Did you know that there are many philippine myth? first lets start of with what we called "aswang" as far as i know aswang eat human flesh. i haven't seen one but from what i heard their look are very scary, what else if i will see them in my own eyes. they said to be live in capiz and some provinces here in the philippines.

I've heard of manananggal the aswang with a half body only and has wings flying(just like the picture above) at night to search or hunt a woman that are pregnant. they like to eat and drink the flesh and the blood of the baby inside the woman's womb. thier tongue can stretch like thread. they like to land on the roof of houses and find a small hole so they can fit their tongue inside. they say that if there is a pregnant woman the aswang can smell it like a perfume.

and then there is also tiktik too. i guess tiktik and manananggal are the same but tiktik are making noises like "tik tik tik" so that's why they called it tik tik and whenever you heard a scratch on your roof  there is manananggal on your roof. based on what i know if you heard loud "tik tik tik" the tik tik said to be far and then when you do not hear the tik tik sound they said to be near, already arrive in your place.  and take note the aswang can transform into a normal human by day and they can also transform into animal like bats, pigs, or black dog.

tikbalang(demon horse) a half-man half-horse. they said to be that tikbalang travels at night to rape female mortals. and they believe that if rain falls and the sun still shining there is a pair of tikbalang being wed.

santelmo a floating fireball that dozens of filipinos seen it in the sierra madre mountains.

multo (ghost) in english like white lady that are mostly seen by people.

mangkukulam (witch) a sorcerers who cast evil spells to humans.

__________
so this are the said myths of aswang in the philippines, i believe that they do exist eventhough i haven't seen one using my own eyes. but i do believe in ghost cause i see many in our old house :D i will tell you on how i see it  for the first time. so we just arrived in the burial of a relative late at night only me and my mother sleep together and then we heard a wistle like psst! psst! so we find where the noise is coming from and then i see a distorted face of an old man near the door and i just wrap my body all over the blanket to cover my whole body because i was very scared.
so that's my story :) you can just leave a comment or reaction.^^
