Philippine Food



          Philippine Cuisine the style of cooking of the food associated with it have evolved for over many centuries from its origin. Philippine cuisine is mixed with many like Malay, Indian, Arab, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, America and many more.

         There are also many delicious food in the Philippines like many country's have. there is adobong manok/baboy, sinigang, tinolang manok, menudo, kaldereta, bicol express, sisig, letchon, nilaga, and many more.

           But the most like filipino food is the adobo even the foreigner likes it when they go travel here in the philippines. now if you are curious what is adobo this is what it looks like.
             Adobong manok it taste sour and a little salty because of the soy sauce and vinegar but it depends the taste on how are you going to cook it. when i cooked adobo i put a little bit of sugar to make it sweet. if you want to try cook adobo here is the recipe.

  • 3 lbs chicken thighs
  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 ts peppercorns (crushed)
  • 1/4 ts salt
  • 3 cloves garlic (chopped or crushed)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/4 of a medium onion (chopped)
Procedure:

first put an oil in a pan then cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides and add the onion,garlic and ginger on the pan cook until it soften and become brown. and then add the soy sauce and vinegar, black pepper and bay leaf. (this is optional put sugar if you want the taste to be a little bit sweet) and increase the heat until it boils. now look if the chicke is tender then it is already cook.
